Crafting Professional Headshots:
An Interactive Worskhop with Chris Jones

This class will be hands-on, so come ready to photograph! We’ll work through the process of creating great business portraits together—from camera and computer setup to lighting, posing, expression, and working efficiently.
You will experiment with different types of lights and modifiers, try several lighting patterns, and practice posing and directing each other.
Chris will talk about what he has learned from photographing larger teams and how to keep a busy volume portrait day organized, consistent, and running smoothly.
Along the way, we’ll discuss why business portraits are different from other portrait sessions and how that affects the way we approach and sell the work.
Most importantly, you won’t just watch—you’ll be behind the camera, trying the techniques yourself.
As an added bonus, everyone will have the opportunity to leave with a new business portrait of their own!
Bring your camera, your questions, and be ready to shoot!
