Even with the best planned event, we can't always plan the weather.
So, here's a Redo..

We had originally scheduled James for his shoot out at out convention, due to the weather, we only had a small turnout. And because of the incredible demand and our desire to make it up to you; our members, we're bringing James back for an incredible event at the Old Packard Proving Grounds in Utica.

Shoot out with the Classics

If you ever wanted to experience an evening of shooting with a master photographer showing you the best in posing and lighting, this is the event for you!

James Schmelzer is an award winning photographer, lecturer, and has been the technical representative for F.J. Westcott Company for over 30 years. James has been actively involved in designing new light modifier products as well as creating instructional videos demonstrating control of light. James is also a Sigma Photo Pro, and a Lumix Luminary, He conducts workshops, speaks at seminars, and demonstrates at trade shows.

James has been a member of the Professional Photographers of America, where he holds the Master Craftsman Photographer Degree. He also holds a Master's Degree with the Wedding & Portrait Photographers International. James is the owner of Elite Photographic Studio in Shelby Township, Michigan where he specializes in High School Senior portraits and Weddings.
